Welcome to the Wallace 700 Association website.

We are a non-political charitable body (registered charity no. SC034208) which exists to advance the education of the public about the life, memory and values of William Wallace and his relevance to the heritage, culture and history of Scotland.

The Association believes that the principles for which Sir William Wallace gave his life in 1305 are as relevant today...in a future Scotland....and throughout the world, as they were at the time of his death. For centuries, Wallace has been held in high esteem internationally, on a par with modern heroes Mahatma Ghandi and Nelson Mandela.
